On 13th of September 2015, durig the celebration of the Minsk City Day, our colleagues joined the Volkswagen Minsk Half Marathon and demonstrated impressive results! 
The Volkswagen Minsk Half Marathon is a traditional event, organized during the second weekend of September since 2013. It goes through the heart of the capital of Belarus, its most beautiful streets and avenues, and attracts hundreds and thousands of professional and amateur runners. 
Six of our colleagues accepted the challenge to join the Volkswagen Minsk Half Marathon and demonstrated great results:
- Anatoly Khomenko (executive director) - 21,1 km - 1:57:13
- Peter Melnikov (head of R&D) - 10,55 km - 0:51:40
- Sergey Moroz (head of Digital Commerce) - 10,55 km - 0:59:01
- Pavel Trufanov - 5 km - 0:37:04
- Vasily Lazerko - 5 km - 0:33:33
- Marina Dyrda - 5 km
Other Axamit’s team members came to support the runners and celebrate their success together. It was fun!
Participation in sports events is one of the Axamit’s team traditions. Our management team, Paul Bulgakov, Anatoly Khomenko, Peter Melnikov, Sergey Moroz and Alexey Bulgakov, practice running all year round, as well as swimming and cycling during summer season.
Alexey Bulgakov, our VP of Business Development working in Canada office, practices all three kinds of sports 12 months a year. On the day of the Volkswagen Minsk Half Marathon he participated in the Montreal Esprit Triathlon.
We are happy to see that more and more colleagues join our sports fans community. We like accepting big challenges both in sports and work, and doing our best to achieve great results!
